Self‐Assembling Cationic Lipopeptides for the Construction of Functional Vesicular Gene‐Delivery Systems

Cationic lipopeptides self‐assemble into stable, cell‐like vesicles that merge peptide programmability with lipid self‐organization. These biocompatible compartments efficiently sequester and deliver nucleic acids, enabling high transfection efficiency with low‐toxicity in both HEK293T cells and mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).

Cytosolic delivery of bacterial metabolites by riboflavin transporters promotes MR1 antigen presentation and MAIT cell recognition

VitBAg antigen presentation is promoted through a cytosolic pathway that reaches ligand‐receptive MR1 to present to MAIT cells, like the riboflavin transport pathway. Riboflavin solute carrier transporters can promote this MR1 presentation, but they are not essential for this role, suggesting redundant pathways to uptake VitBAg.

Diamine oxidase is the amiloride-binding protein and is inhibited by amiloride analogues

Diamine oxidase (histaminase), an enzyme that oxidatively deaminates putrescine and histamine, was purified from human placenta and from pig kidney. Both NH2-terminal sequences are highly homologous to the human kidney amiloride-binding protein, previously thought to be a component of the amiloride-sensitive Na+ channel.
