Characterization of Arabidopsis insertional mutants for copper-containing amine oxidases
2010In plants, polyamines are catabolised by amine oxidases, which are present in different sub-cellular compartments. The chemical identity of AO-catalyzed reaction products depends on mode of polyamine oxidation, hydrogen peroxide representing a shared compound in all the AO-mediated reactions.

3-hydrazinopyridazine derivatives as inhibitors of the copper containing amine oxidases.
Il Farmaco; edizione scientifica, 1977A series of 3-hydrazine derivatives with antihypertensive properties were studied as inhibitors of the copper containing amine oxidases. All the compounds with a free hydrazino group were found to be strong-non-competitive inhibitors. Some of them had an inhibitory activity of the same order as that of hydralazine.

[Copper-containing amine oxidases of blood vessels (review of the literature)].
Voprosy meditsinskoi khimii, 1987Modern data on types, physico-chemical properties, physiological role of copper-containing amine oxidase of blood vessels are reviewed. Properties of lysyl oxidase--specific copper-containing amine oxidase--are described. Importance of the enzyme for normal functions of connective tissue as well as alterations in the enzymatic activity under various ...
