Catalytic Amination of Phenols with Amines
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2022Given the wide prevalence and ready availability of both phenols and amines, aniline synthesis through direct coupling between these starting materials would be extremely attractive. Herein, we describe a rhodium-catalyzed amination of phenols, which provides concise access to diverse anilines, with water as the sole byproduct.

This chapter provides a brief description of the use of amines and amine-borane complexes as reducing agents for the synthesis of metallic nanoparticles. The use of alkyl, aryl amines, hydrazine, amine-borane complexes and, finally, polymeric amines is discussed in relation to their ability to reduce different classes of metallic ions (noble, magnetic,

Catalytic CH Amination with Aromatic Amines
Angewandte Chemie, 2012Aniline joins the club: A β-diketiminato copper(I) catalyst enables C-H amination of anilines employing low catalyst loadings to preclude oxidation to the diazene ArN=NAr. Electron-poor anilines are particularly resistant towards diazene formation and participate in the amination of strong and unactivated C-H bonds. N-alkyl anilines also take part in C-

Amine–Amine Exchange in Aminium–Methanesulfonate Aerosols
The Journal of Physical Chemistry C, 2014Aerosol particles are ubiquitous in the atmosphere and have been shown to impact the Earth’s climate, reduce visibility, and adversely affect human health. Modeling the evolution of aerosol systems requires an understanding of the species and mechanisms involved in particle growth, including the complex interactions between particle- and gas-phase ...

AMiner is the second generation of the ArnetMiner system. We focus on developing author-centric analytic and mining tools for gaining a deep understanding of the large and heterogeneous networks formed by authors, papers, venues, and knowledge concepts. One fundamental goal is how to extract and integrate semantics from different sources.
