Dipeptidyl-aminopeptidases and aminopeptidases in Dictyostelium discoideum
Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications, 1985Extracts prepared from culminating cells of Dictyostelium discoideum have been found to contain dipeptidyl-aminopeptidases I (EC 3.4.14.1), II (EC 3.4.14.2), III (EC 3.4.14.4), arginine aminopeptidase (EC 3.4.11.6) and valine aminopeptidase. Dipeptidyl-aminopeptidase III was the most active of the dipeptidyl-aminopeptidases; its molecular weight was ...

Aminopeptidases from Human Leucocytes
Hoppe-Seyler´s Zeitschrift für physiologische Chemie, 1984Six aminopeptidases differing in enzymic specificity against various L-amino acid-4-nitroanilides were detected and isolated from the cytosol of leucocytes collected from the buffy coat of human blood. The different enzymes were separated by one step of chromatography on DEAE-Sephacel and were further purified by gel filtration on Sephacryl S-300.

Aminopeptidases and Angiogenesis
Endothelium, 2003A number of proteases, including matrix metalloproteinases and plasminogen activators, have been shown to be involved in angiogenesis. In addition, recent reports suggest that aminopeptidases also play roles in angiogenesis. These peptidases regulate the N-terminal modification of proteins and peptides required in processes such as maturation ...
