Particular object retrieval with integral max-pooling of CNN activations [PDF]
Recently, image representation built upon Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) has been shown to provide effective descriptors for image search, outperforming pre-CNN features as short-vector representations.

7,12‐Dimethylbenz[a]anthracene (DMBA) could induce leukemia and other types of cancers in rat models. Transcriptomics revealed gene expression profile that parallels with human leukemia. DMBA‐induced differential gene expression could validate the developed rat model.

SETD2 in MLL-rearranged leukemia – a complex case
Oncogenic MLL-fusion proteins often hijack essential molecular mechanisms during leukemogenesis. The histone methyltransferase SETD2 was implicated in the regulation of transcription, DNA damage and other cellular processes.

This graphical abstract illustrates the essential role of USB1 in neutrophil maturation. In normal myeloid cells, USB1 acts as an RNA exonuclease, trimming RNA tails to maintain proper RNA network function, which supports the differentiation of myeloid progenitor cells into mature neutrophils.

Targeting pseudokinase TRIB3 brings about a new therapeutic option for acute promyelocytic leukemia
Pseudokinase tribbles (Trib) family, Trib1 and Trib2, but not Trib3, act as oncogene to drive acute leukemia by destabilizing the myeloid transcription factor CCAAT/enhancer-binding protein α (C/EBPα) and inhibiting myeloid differentiation.

On the Effect of Magnetic Spots on Stellar Winds and Angular Momentum Loss
We simulate the effect of latitudinal variations in the location of star spots, as well as their magnetic field strength, on stellar angular momentum loss to the stellar wind.

Objective Aqueously diffusible oligomers of the amyloid β‐protein (oAβ) are neurotoxic and play a role in neuronal dysfunction in Alzheimer's disease (AD). Accurate quantification of oAβ in brains and biofluids could be valuable for understanding and monitoring AD.

The petrotympanic canal (Huguier canal): Evolutionary, anatomical, and medical perspectives
Abstract The petrotympanic canal, traditionally referred to as Civinini's or Huguier's canal, represents an anatomical passage connecting the middle ear and temporomandibular joint (TMJ). Despite its early description, its structural complexity and functional significance have often been underestimated. In this study, we combined historical, anatomical,
