Isolation, identification and characteristics of ammonia-oxidation bacteria from Anammox reactor
6 strains of ammonia-oxidation bacteria were isolated from an Anammox reactor, and the biological characteristics of strain N1 were studied. The results showed that strain N1 had the ability to oxidize ammonium anaerobically.

We present local spin density approximation calculations on the adsorption and dissociation of ammonia n a copper cluster which models the Cu(111) surface. Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes.
