Tandem organic solar cells with optimized ternary acceptor engineering achieved a power conversion efficiency of 15.53% and enabled a high‐voltage mini‐module (Voc 6.11 V). Integration into a bias‐free PV‐EC system further demonstrated efficient solar‐to‐ammonia (STA) conversion (97% Faradaic Efficiency, 4± 2% STA efficiency), highlighting scalable ...

Hydrazine Formation via NiIII-NH2 Radical Coupling in Ni-Mediated Ammonia Oxidation
Given the diverse mechanistic possibilities for the overall 6e-/6H+ transformation of ammonia to dinitrogen, identification of M(NHx) intermediates involved in N–N bond formation is a central mechanistic challenge.

Isolation, identification and characteristics of ammonia-oxidation bacteria from Anammox reactor
6 strains of ammonia-oxidation bacteria were isolated from an Anammox reactor, and the biological characteristics of strain N1 were studied. The results showed that strain N1 had the ability to oxidize ammonium anaerobically.

Ammonia oxidation and ammonia-oxidizing bacteria and archaea from estuaries with differing histories of hypoxia [PDF]
Abstract Nitrification, the oxidation of NH4 + to NO2 − and subsequently to NO3 −, plays a central role in the nitrogen cycle and is often a critical first step in nitrogen removal from estuarine and coastal environments. The first and rate-limiting step in nitrification is catalyzed by the enzyme ammonia monooxygenase (AmoA).

Transition metal oxy/carbo‐nitrides show great promise as catalysts for sustainable processes. A Mn‐Mo mixed‐metal oxynitride attains remarkable performance for the direct synthesis of acetonitrile, an important commodity chemical, via sequential C─N and C─C coupling from syngas (C1) and ammonia (N1) feedstocks.
