DETERMINACIÓN DEL NITRÓGENO POTENCIALMENTE MINERALIZABLE Y LA TASA DE MINERALIZACIÓN DE NITRÓGENO EN MATERIALES ORGÁNICOS [PDF]

open access: yesTemas Agrarios, 2012
The application of organic materials as fertilizers is a common practice in clean production and organic systems, however, there is not enough technical criteria to measure the right dose.

THE TORSIONAL VIBRATIONS OF THE AMMONIUM IONS IN AMMONIUM IODIDE AND AMMONIUM BROMIDE [PDF]

open access: yesChemistry Letters, 1973
Abstract The far-infrared spectra of NH4I and NH4Br have been measured at temperatures of −223 to −53 °C. The torsional vibrations of the NH4+ ions in the phase III crystalline salts were observed at 301 cm−1 for NH4I at −223 °C and at 348 cm−1 for NH4Br at −166 °C.

Use of ammonium sulphate as a sulphur fertilizer: Implications for ammonia volatilization [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
Ammonium sulphate is widely used as a sulphur (S) fertilizer, constituting about 50% of global S use. Within nitrogen (N) management it is well known that ammonium-based fertilizers are subject to ammonia (NH3) volatilization in soils with pH >7, but ...

Influence of nitrogen injection application on zinc and iron uptake by winter wheat and spring barley [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Central European Agriculture, 2014
Influence of CULTAN method (Controlled Uptake Long Term Ammonium Nutrition) on the iron and zinc uptake by winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) and spring barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) was observed at four-year small-plot field experiments under conditions ...

Response of bacterial communities (Marivita, Marinobacter, and Oceanicaulis) in the phycosphere to the growth of Phaeodactylum tricornutum in different inorganic nitrogen sources

open access: yesFrontiers in Marine Science, 2023
IntroductionIn marine ecosystems, microbial communities are important drivers of material circulation and energy flow. The complex interactions between phytoplankton and bacterial communities constitute one of the most crucial ecological relationships in

Nitrogen Source Affects the Composition of Metabolites in Pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) and Regulates the Synthesis of Capsaicinoids through the GOGAT–GS Pathway

open access: yesFoods, 2020
Phytochemical analyses of pepper fruit metabolites have been reported; however, much less is known about the influence of different forms of nitrogen (N), which is critical for plant growth and fruit quality formation. The “Longjiao No.

Transcriptional Landscape of Ectomycorrhizal Fungi and Their Host Provides Insight into N Uptake from Forest Soil

open access: yesmSystems, 2022
Mineral nitrogen (N) is a major nutrient showing strong fluctuations in the environment due to anthropogenic activities. The acquisition and translocation of N to forest trees are achieved mainly by highly diverse ectomycorrhizal fungi (EMF) living in ...

Nonenzymatic anaerobic ammonium oxidation through a hydrazine intermediate

open access: yes, 2023
Anaerobic ammonium oxidation (anammox) − the biological process that activates ammonium with nitrite − is responsible for a significant fraction of N2 production in marine environments.
