Screening of antagonistic bacteria isolated from Amorphophallus konjac rhizosphere soil [PDF]

open access: bronzeAIP Conference Proceedings, 2018
Bacteria lived in Amorphaphallus konjac rhizosphere soil have the potential ability of antagonistic bacterial pathogen activity against to Erwinia carotovora subsp carotovora (Ecc). The paper was to study and analyze all strains of 18 bacteria isolated from A.

Embryogenesis and plant regeneration from unpollinated ovaries of Amorphophallus konjac

open access: diamondAFRICAN JOURNAL OF BIOTECHNOLOGY, 2012
The system of somatic embryogenesis of Amorphophallus konjac had been built through unpollinated ovaries. The embryogenic calli were induced on Murashige and Skoog (MS) basal medium supplemented with 9.0 μM 6- benzylaminopurine (BA), 0.4 μM 2,4dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (D), 1.0 μM naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA), and the induction rate was 34.0%.

Changes in the assembly and functional adaptation of endophytic microbial communities in Amorphophallus species with different levels of resistance to necrotrophic bacterial pathogen stress [PDF]

open access: yesCommunications Biology
Pcc is one of the key pathogenic factors responsible for destructive soft rot in konjac. To date, the assembly and functional adaptation of the plant endophytic microbiome under Pcc stress remain poorly understood. Here, we found that Pcc stress leads to

Amorphophallus konjac via Gut Microbiota‐FXR/FGF15 Axis Changed Bile Acid Metabolism in Hyperlipidemia Mice [PDF]

open access: hybridJournal of Food Biochemistry, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Background: Hyperlipidemia (HLP) is highly prevalent in China, and this prevalence is increasing annually, particularly among younger populations. The extract of Amorphophallus konjac (APK), a traditional food and medicinal plant in China, has shown potential hypoglycemic and antitumor effects.
