Synthesis and Dehydration of Amorphous Calcium Phosphate

Inorganic Materials, 2001
Amorphous calcium polyphosphate was prepared by exchange reaction, and the variation in its molecular composition during dehydration was examined. During heating, the material is first hydrolyzed by its own hydration water to form calcium mono- and diphosphates, which again transform into calcium polyphosphate at higher temperatures.

Phosphate Recovery Using Amorphous Calcium Silicate Hydrates

2018
Amorphous calcium silicate hydrates (A-CSHs) can be chemically synthesized using abundantly available, inexpensive materials such as siliceous shale and calcium hydroxide. A-CSHs can serve as a bifunctional adsorption-aggregation agent for phosphate (Pi) recovery from aqueous solution. A-CSHs can also be prepared by soaking recyclable calcium silicates

Removal of Phosphate from Sewage as Amorphous Calcium Phosphate

Environmental Technology, 1999
This paper discusses the progress of laboratory scale and a larger pilot plant campaign directed at evaluating a new process for the removal and recovery of phosphate from municipal sewage (after secondary treatment) and certain industrial waste streams.

Amorphous Calcium Phosphates and Their Nanocomposites

The primary goal of the Thesis was to develop a wet chemical synthesis route for the synthesis of SOM-containing ACP and analyse the impact of SOM on ACP’s physiochemical properties (particle size, morphology, true density, specific surface area, and transformation kinetics) and cytocompatibility.

Review of casein phosphopeptides-amorphous calcium phosphate.

The Chinese journal of dental research, 2015
Casein phosphopeptides-amorphous calcium phosphate (CPP-ACP) is a bioactive agent with a base of milk products, which has been formulated from two parts: casein phosphopeptides (CPP) and amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP). CPP was produced from milk protein casein and has a remarkable ability to stabilize calcium phosphate in solution and to ...
