Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Optimal space-time codes for the MIMO amplify-and-forward cooperative channel
In this work, we extend the non-orthogonal amplify-and-forward (NAF) cooperative diversity scheme to the MIMO channel. A family of space-time block codes for a half-duplex MIMO NAF fading cooperative channel with N relays is constructed.

Cooperative Relay in Cognitive Radio Networks: Decode-and-Forward or Amplify-and-Forward? [PDF]
Cognitive radios (CR) and cooperative communications represent new paradigms that both can effectively improve the spectrum efficiency of future wireless networks. In this paper, we investigate the problem of cooperative relay in CR networks for further improved network performance.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Ergodic capacity of the exponentially correlated slotted amplify and forward relay channel [PDF]
In this paper we analyze the performance degradation of slotted amplify-and-forward protocol in wireless environments with high node density where the number of relays grows asymptotically large.

Outage Capacity of Bursty Amplify-and-Forward with Incremental Relaying
We derive the outage capacity of a bursty version of the amplify-and-forward (BAF) protocol for small signal-to-noise ratios when incremental relaying is used.

Toward Optimal Power Control and Transfer for Energy Harvesting Amplify-and-Forward Relay Networks
In this paper, we study an amplify-and-forward relay network with energy harvesting (EH) source and relay nodes. Both nodes can continuously harvest energy from the environment and store it in batteries with finite capacity. Additionally, the source node

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Exploiting Sparsity in Amplify-and-Forward Broadband Multiple Relay Selection
Cooperative communication has attracted significant attention in the last decade due to its ability to increase the spatial diversity order with only single-antenna nodes.
