Self‐Adaptive Anhydrous Passivation Mitigates Open‐Circuit Voltage Loss in Pb‐Sn Mixed Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this report, a self‐adaptive anhydrous passivation strategy is introduced by incorporating trimellitic anhydride (TMAH) into the perovskite precursor. In situ hydrolysis of TMAH yields trimellitic acid (TMA); ‐C═O/‐COO− groups of TMAH/TMA form a chelate with undercoordinated Pb2+/Sn2+, regulate nucleation, promote (100) orientation, passivate ...

Glissile Interphase Boundaries Enable Collective Phase Switching in Epitaxial Polar Oxides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A triple point is identified in the phase diagram of low‐symmetry epitaxial BiFeO3 thin film along with an extended regime of phase competition associated with a flattened energy landscape. The electromechanical response is shown to be governed by correlated interphase‐boundary motion, including scale‐free avalanche dynamics characteristic of systems ...

The effects of I/Q imbalance of the performances of QPSK in uncoded and coded schemes : imbalance detection and compensation techniques [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Analogue implementations of quadrature modulation circuits are usually imperfect and suffer from several impairments. Among these impairments, the amplitude imbalance and phase imbalance are the major source of signal distortions especially for direct ...

Electro‐Steric Ion Confinement in Polyelectrolyte Networks for Robust Nonvolatile Artificial Synapse

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polyelectrolyte stoichiometry governs ion transport and retention in electrolyte‐gated synaptic transistors. A PSS‐rich network creates electro‐steric ion confinement that suppresses ion back‐diffusion and stabilizes channel doping, enabling robust nonvolatile synaptic memory, linear weight updates, and low‐energy operation.

A Compact QPSK Modulator with Low Amplitude and Phase Imbalance for Remote Sensing Applications

open access: yes, 2012
A new, compact and wide-band Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) modulator is presented for remote sensing applications. The microstrip-based modulator employs quadrature hybrid coupler, Wilkinson divider, rat race coupler and GaAs MESFET switches.

Modeling VSC with Active/Reactive Current Excitation and Internal Voltage Response for Grid Amplitude/Frequency Modulation Dynamics Analysis

open access: yesCSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems
Increasing penetration of power electronic (PE) grid-tied devices has caused more and more dynamic problems with unknown mechanisms. Since grid operation asks for a certain voltage amplitude and frequency level when there is a power imbalance, roles of ...

Methods for quadrature modulator imbalance compensation

open access: yes, 2008
Quadrature modulator (demodulator) is used in transmitting (receiving) part of many devices. Unwanted imbalance can influence amplitude, phase or DC offset of modulator (demodulator). Correction of imbalance was a main subject of thesis.
