A D-band 180° phase shifter with very low amplitude- and phase-error

open access: yes, 2022
S.174-177Phase shifters are at the heart of phased array systems which enable beam steering techniques. This paper presents a 180° digital phase shifter MMIC employing two SPDT switches which are realized in a 50nm metamorphic high electron mobility ...

Quantifying Subsurface Weak in‐Plane Magnetization of Mixed Phase BiFeO3 by Scanning Nitrogen Vacancy Magnetometry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We use scanning nitrogen vacancy magnetometry to directly image the weak in‐plane magnetic moments in mixed phase BiFeO3 at the nanoscale and quantify the local magnetic moments to be 18.8±2.0 μB/nm2 in the rhombohedral‐like phase and 1.5±0.6 μB/nm2 in the well‐known non‐magnetic tetragonal‐like phase.

An Accurate Three-Input Nonlinear Model for Joint Compensation of Frequency-Dependent I/Q Imbalance and Power Amplifier Distortion

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The analog front of the direct conversion transmitter suffers from the effects of various unavoidable nonlinearities, such as local oscillator (LO) leakage, power amplifier (PA) nonlinearities, and in-phase and quadrature (I/Q) branch amplitude and phase

Wind Turbine Blade Imbalance Monitoring Using PMSG Electrical Signals

open access: yes
This paper presents a new fault diagnosis method of wind turbine (WT) blade mass imbalance and blade pitch imbalance using the electrical output signals of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) in a wind turbine. It extracts the tach signals from

Response of Aeroengine with Fusing Design Suffering FBO

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2019
The loss of fan blades in an aeroengine, or fan-blade out (FBO), is a type of accident that causes a sudden imbalance and large impact load, which leads to complex vibration of a system.
