Software Defined DCF77 Receiver [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This paper shows the solution of time stamp software defined receiver integration into low cost com-mercial devices. The receiver is based on a general pur-pose processor and its analog to digital converter.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Investigation of charge coupled device correlation techniques [PDF]

open access: yes
Analog Charge Transfer Devices (CTD's) offer unique advantages to signal processing systems, which often have large development costs, making it desirable to define those devices which can be developed for general system's use.

A methionine‐lined active site governs carbocation stabilization and product specificity in a bacterial terpene synthase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Application performance of elements in a floating–gate FPAA [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Field–programmable analog arrays (FPAAs) provide a method for rapidly prototyping analog systems. Currently available commercial and academic FPAAs are typically based on operational amplifiers (or other similar analog primitives) with only a few ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

A study of sampling bases for spline signal spaces and its application to D-A converters [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
Study on signal processing started as analog signal processing which has its root in circuitry theory and is presently focusing on digital signal processing which is implemented by digital circuits [101-105].

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Mathematical Modeling of Sampling, Quantization, and Coding in Sigma Delta Converter using Matlab

open access: yesUHD Journal of Science and Technology, 2017
The received analog signal must be digitized before the digital signal processing can demodulate it. Sampling, quantization, and coding are the separate stages for the analog-to-digital adaptation procedure.
