Analogue Current Mode Circuits
International Journal of Electrical Engineering & Education, 1989Circuits designed to use current as the active parameter can often outperform by a significant margin the more traditional voltage mode formulations. Many wideband circuit functions and new design opportunities are available by using current mirrors and current conveyors as basic building blocks.

Integrated circuits for analogue systems
Microelectronics Reliability, 1973Because of the need for a large market and the initial problems with technically complex circuits, integrated circuits developed later for analogue than for digital systems. There are now two reasonably distinct groups of analogue circuits, namely those for professional use and those for incorporation in consumer equipment. In the former category ...

Analogue electronic circuit diagnosis based on ANNs
Microelectronics Reliability, 2006Feed-forward artificial neural networks (ANNs) have been applied to the diagnosis of nonlinear dynamic analogue electronic circuits. Using the simulation-before-test (SBT) approach, a fault dictionary was first created containing responses observed at all inputs and outputs of the circuit. The ANN was considered as an approximation algorithm to capture

An approach to the specification driven testing of analogue circuits
Proceedings of 8th Mediterranean Electrotechnical Conference on Industrial Applications in Power Systems, Computer Science and Telecommunications (MELECON 96), 2002A fast method to test analogue circuits, featuring low testing cost is proposed here. The method is based on the properties of a set of parameters, /spl alpha//sub i/, easily measured by sampling in a few time points the circuit response to a rectangular pulse.

Circuits for quaternary-to-analogue conversion†
International Journal of Electronics, 1982Digital-to-analogue (D/A) and analogue-to-digital (A/D) converters play incresingly important rules in modern signal processing due to increasingly affordable ami available (binary) digital integrnted circuits. Research into multiple-valued logic (MVL) indicates that in many situations MVL can be more efficient and effective than binary logic.

Generalized Formulation of the Analogue Circuits Design Problem
Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2010Methodology of designing analogue circuits developed earlier on the basis of using optimal control theory is generalized in order to form a more complete structure base for various design strategies. It leads to significant increase of possible design strategies and, thus, to introduction of more perspective strategies allowing further decreasing the ...

Analogue Electronic Circuits and Systems
1991This book is an undergraduate textbook for students of electrical and electronic engineering. It is written at an intermediate level, with second year students particularly in mind, and discusses analogue circuits used in various fields. Basic electronics has been omitted so that appropriate emphasis can be given to the design of the most popular and ...

Topologies for programmable analogue circuits [PDF]
Modern VLSI design has always tried to shorten the design cycles for digital and analogue circuits. This effort has been very successful over the past years for digital integrated circuits, through the development of FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) and appropriate CAD methodologies to suit the design flow.
