Downward continuation of airborne gravity data by means of the change of boundary approach

open access: yes, 2017
Within the modelling of gravity data, a common practice is the upward/downward continuation of the signal, i.e. the process of continuing the gravitational signal in the vertical direction away or closer to the sources, respectively.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Analytical continuation of black hole entropy in Loop Quantum Gravity: Lessons from black hole thermodynamics

open access: yes, 2014
International audienceThis contribution is devoted to summarize the recent results obtained in the construction of an “analytic continuation” of Loop Quantum Gravity (LQG). By this we mean that we construct analytic continuation of physical quantities in

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Bifurcation Analysis of a Discrete-Time Prey-Predator Model: Theory and Numerical Continuation

open access: yesJournal of Statistical Theory and Applications (JSTA)
This paper presents a comprehensive analysis of the bifurcation behavior of a two-dimensional predator-prey model described by a system of nonlinear difference equations. The study investigates the behavior of the system under different parameter regimes

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

One-particle spectral function and analytic continuation for many-body implementation in the exact muffin-tin orbitals method

open access: yes, 2012
We investigate one of the most common analytic continuation techniques in condensed matter physics, namely the Pade approximant. Aspects concerning its implementation in the exact muffin-tin orbitals (EMTO) method are scrutinized with special regard ...

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Anatomy of family trees in cosmological correlators

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The time-ordered multilayer integrals have long been cited as major challenges in the analytical study of cosmological correlators and wavefunction coefficients.

A priori bounds for truncation error of branched continued fraction expansions of Horn's hypergeometric functions $H_4$ and their ratios

open access: yesResearches in Mathematics
The paper considers the extension of analytic functions by a special family of functions — branched continued fractions. The truncation error bounds for branched continue fraction expansions of the Horn's hypergeometric functions $H_4$ and their ratios ...
