Germination of synthetic seeds of pineapple (Ananas comosus L. Merr.)

Plant Cell Reports, 2002
Tufts of multiple shoots were produced from dormant, axillary buds of pineapple in vitro. Tiny shoots (2–5 mm) isolated from the tuft of multiple shoots were encapsulated in 3% sodium alginate prepared using hormone-free Murashige and Skoog's basal medium, Murashige and Skoog's vitamins, 0.56 mM myo-inositol and 0.06 M sucrose.

The Water of Pineapple Ananas Comosus (L.) as an Alternative Natural Antioxidant

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2018
To utilize natural resources in Indonesia, pineapple production reached 1,837,159 in 2013. Natural antioxidants developed in line with the finding of the research that has the cariogenic side effect of synthetic antioxidants for the body. Pineapple as a natural antioxidant contains of flavonoids, vitamin A and vitamin C.

Agrobacterium-Mediated Genetic Transformation of Pineapple (Ananas comosus L., Merr.)

2012
Pineapple (Ananas comosus L., Merr.) is a commercially important crop, grown in the tropical and subtropical regions. However, the crop is faced with postharvest damage and poor varietal and nutritional improvement. Being a vegetatively propagated crop, conventional breeding programs take longer time for genetic improvement, which may not necessarily ...

Characterization of Sinapyl Derivatives in Pineapple (Ananas comosus [L.] Merill) Juice

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 1999
Three previously unidentified phenolic compounds were found in pineapple (Ananas comosus [L.] Merill) juice in substantial concentrations and were isolated by semipreparative reverse phase HPLC. The structures were elucidated from UV spectra, acid hydrolysis, and subsequent amino acid analysis, mass spectrometry, and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy ...

Investigations on the fibers of pineapple [Ananas comosus (L). Merr.] leaves

Carbohydrate Research, 1981
Abstract Hemicelluloses were isolated from pineapple-leaf fibers under different conditions. Study of the properties of these hemicelluloses gave direct evidence of some ester linkages between the hemicellulose and the lignin in this fiber. An aldobiouronic acid was isolated from this fiber hemicellulose, and characterized as 2- O -(4- O -methyl-α- d

A Frequently Mutating Gene in the Pineapple Ananas Comosus (L.) Merr

The American Naturalist, 1936
The spiny-leaved plants and the spiny-smooth chimera plants which are found in Cayenne fields originate as somatic mutations. The percentage of chimera plants was found to be smaller in the Cayenne variety, which genetic tests had indicated as being hybrid for spiny leaves, than in smooth-leaved hybrid plants produced by crossing smooth-leaved with ...

อิทธิพลของวิธีการหมักและชนิดของกล้าเชื้อแบคทีเรียแลกติกต่อสมบัติทางกายภาพและเคมีของไวน์สับปะรดพันธุ์ปัตตาเวีย Ananas comosus (L.) Merr 'Smooth Cayenne'
