Feasibility of Endo GIA™ Reinforced Reload with Tri-Staple™ Technology for delta-shaped anastomosis
Summary: Background: We report the short-term clinical outcomes of a delta-shaped (DS) anastomosis in laparoscopic distal gastrectomy (LDG), comparing Endo GIA™ Reinforced Reload (Reinforced GIA) with Endo GIA™ (GIA) staplers.

This work establishes a novel method for generating multicellular liver organoids from control and MASH donor iPSCs. The model recapitulates several disease‐specific characteristics, with MASH donor‐derived organoids showing higher susceptibility. Lipidomic profiling of MASH organoids closely resembles MASH liver biopsies.

Single‐cell RNA sequencing verified the presence of the VIM+ biliary epithelial cell (BEC) in the bile ducts of NAS patients. The hypoxia/TGF‐β‐CREM‐VIM axis mediated phenotypic switch toward VIM+ BEC is validated using a hypoxia/TGF‐β‐stimulated cellular model, a rat liver transplantation model, BEC‐specific Crem conditional knockout rats, and BEC ...

Role of diclofenac sodium and paracetamol on colonic anastomosis: An experimental rodent model
Summary: Background: Despite many advances in surgery and technology, colonic anastomosis remains a challenge after colonic resection. The purpose of this study is to compare the safety of using diclofenac sodium and paracetamol for analgesia in colonic

Bioinspired passive flow routing mitigates thrombosis in cardiovascular devices by redirecting a small fraction of forward flow into stagnation‐prone regions. Inspired by avian alula and aircraft slat mechanisms, strategically placed routing channels restore washout around mechanical heart valves, reducing low‐shear exposure by four orders of magnitude

A 3D‐printed interpenetrating Ti/Zn composite enables sustained Zn2+ release to regulate intracellular Ca2+ redistribution, preserve mitochondrial homeostasis, activate ERK/MAPK signaling, and promote M2 macrophage polarization, thereby enhancing osteoimmune‐mediated bone regeneration and peri‐implant osseointegration.

Effects of bile on arterial anastomosis in a rat model
Objective: Liver transplantation has been one of the areas in which microvascular surgery is frequently practiced. With the use of microsurgical techniques in hepatic artery anastomosis, the incidence of hepatic artery thrombosis has been signifi- cantly
