Obravnava bolnikov z vaskulitisom, povezanim s protinevtrofilnimi protitelesi (ANCA)

open access: yesZdravniški Vestnik
Vaskulitis, povezan s protitelesi proti citoplazmi nevtrofilcev (angl. ANCA-associated vasculitis, AAV, anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies, ANCA) je skupina sistemskih avtoimunskih vaskulitisov majhnih žil, ki vključuje granulomatozo s poliangiitisom

Vasculitic Neuropathies, its Varied Manifestations, and Associations

open access: yesAPIK Journal of Internal Medicine
Vasculitic neuropathies are disorders that result from inflammation in the peripheral nerve’s vascular supply, resulting in ischemic injury. These disorders may be confined to peripheral nerves or may be a result of systemic inflammation.

Autoimmunity and Periodontitis

open access: yesJournal of Periodontal Research, EarlyView.
In a microbe‐driven inflammatory environment, peptidyl‐arginine deiminase (PAD) enzymes from neutrophils and Porphyromonas gingivalis citrullinate both microbial and self‐antigens. B cell presentation of citrullinated or self‐mimicking epitopes activates T cells that assist B cells in antibody isotype switching, affinity maturation, epitope spreading ...

Oral Microbiome in Systemic Autoimmune Diseases: A Systematic Review

open access: yesOral Diseases, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective The oral cavity represents a key but underexplored interface between host immunity and microbial communities. The aim of this systematic review was to synthesize current literature on oral microbiota alterations in systemic autoimmune diseases.

Antibiotic‐mediated immune modulation in periodontitis

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting the supporting structures of the teeth. Although initiated by dysbiotic microbial communities, its progression is largely driven by the host's uncontrolled inflammatory response. While antibiotics have conventionally been employed in periodontitis therapy for their antimicrobial ...

... e anca anca. The syntax and se- mantics of a reduplicated adverb in Venetan

open access: yes, 2022
In this paper we explore the syntax and the semantics of the adverbial sequence 'anca anca' used in Venetan varieties. 'Anca anca' is obtained via reduplication of the adverb anca 'also/even' and is interpreted as either 'even more' or 'even less', depending on the context.

Building a Robust Investigator‐Initiated Platform: The I‐CARE Experience

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 119, Issue 6, Page 1537-1546, June 2026.
Investigator‐initiated studies that include information collected by patients are rising, but limited data is available on patient and investigator experience in this setting. The I‐CARE cohort included patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) monthly collecting clinical information in 15 countries for up to 6 years.

Increased arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal biomass and diversity in soil under long‐term climate drying and warming

open access: yesNew Phytologist, Volume 250, Issue 6, Page 3961-3975, June 2026.
Summary Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) support critical ecosystem services including plant resource acquisition and productivity. AMF functional traits such as relative biomass investment in root vs soil colonization or drought tolerance are thought to be evolutionarily conserved within AMF lineages and might influence AMF community responses to ...
