Comparison of different ANCA detection methods in a predominantly MPO-ANCA-associated vasculitis cohort

open access: yesImmunological Medicine
We compared different antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) detection methods using a predominantly myeloperoxidase (MPO)-ANCA-associated vasculitis cohort.

TREM2 Drives Neutrophil Extracellular Traps‐Induced Dendritic Cell Maturation and Contributes to Lupus Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 7, 3 February 2026.
TREM2 recognizes NETs‐derived MPO to promote DC maturation and antigen presentation, thereby exacerbating the autoimmune response in SLE. Mechanistically, TREM2 activation triggers the DAP12/SYK/ERK cascade and enhances NETs internalization by DCs, which in turn activates the cGAS/STING signaling pathway.

Advances in Antibacterial, Anti‐Biofouling, and Corrosion‐Resistant Surface Technologies

open access: yesCell Biology International, Volume 50, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT This commentary provides a comprehensive and forward‐looking analysis of biofouling and the development of antifouling technologies. It culminates in two innovative, non‐toxic approaches: aerophilic surfaces and liquid‐infused slippery surfaces (LISS/SLIPS).

Comparison of Interstitial Lung Disease Between Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies Positive and Negative Patients: A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesACR Open Rheumatology
Objective Positive antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies (ANCAs) may occur in the setting of interstitial lung disease (ILD), with or without ANCA‐associated vasculitis (AAV). We aim to compare the characteristics and clinical course of patients with ILD

Intracerebral Hemorrhage During the Chronic Phase of Eosinophilic Granulomatosis With Polyangiitis: A Case Report Emphasizing Cerebrovascular Vulnerability

open access: yesClinical Case Reports, Volume 14, Issue 2, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA) is a rare form of small‐vessel vasculitis typically associated with eosinophilia, asthma, and systemic inflammation. Although peripheral neuropathies are relatively common, central nervous system involvement, especially intracerebral hemorrhage during the remission phase of EGPA, is uncommon,
