Semi-analytical modeling of anchor loss in plate-mounted resonators [PDF]
Ultrasonics, 2018 A semi-analytical technique for estimating the energy loss in a resonator mounted to an infinite plate substrate is proposed in this paper. In a plate, only Lamb waves have to be considered, leading to a simplified characterization of the energy carried away from a vibrating source on the plate surface.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
