Philureter trigoniopsis parasitizes the ureters and urinary bladder of Galaxias maculatus in Patagonian Andean lakes. To investigate factors associated with variation in the prevalence and intensity of this monogenean, fish were sampled periodically over 2 yr in Lake Gutiérrez.

Cleidodiscus baldwini vi. sp. (Monogenoidea: Ancyrocephalinae) from the Gills of the Trout-Perch (Percopsis omiscomaycus) of Lake Huron

A new species of monogenean, Cleidodiscus baldwini, from the trout-perch (Percopsis omiscomaycus) is described. This is the first report of a monogenean of the genus Cleidodiscus from North American populations of the trout-perch.
