Silicon Enhances Functional Mitochondrial Transfer to Improve Neurovascularization in Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
These findings reveal that silicon exerts strong protective effects in diabetic bone defect models by selectively promoting Drp1‐Mff activity. Silicon facilitates precise regulation of mitochondrial dynamics to enable functional mitochondrial transfer.

In Vivo Reprogramming of Tissue‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles for Treating Chronic Tissue Injury Through Metabolic Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by exercise‐induced metabolic rewiring and EV secretion, this study shows that in vivo metabolic engineering strategy can reprogram EV secretion pattern and simultaneously attenuate multiple tissue injury in CKD status, highlighting that it is a potential strategy for treating diverse chronic diseases.

Development of MDM2‐Targeting PROTAC for Advancing Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a creative pipeline for developing MDM2‐targeting PROTACs (MDM2‐PROTACs) for application in bone regeneration. The developed PROTACs (CL144 and CL174) are validated for their degradation efficiency and osteogenic effects in human BMSCs.

An Off‐the‐Shelf Artificial Proregenerative Macrophage for Pressure Ulcer Treatment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Artificial macrophages (artM) by encapsulating M2 lysates into biodegradable PLGA microspheres and coated with macrophage membrane, are engineered as new therapeutics against skin pressure ulcer. In mouse models, the artM exhibited robust tissue repair through cell recruitment and microenvironment modulation, showing great therapeutic potential for ...

Trifunctional Sialylation‐Based SF‐ZIF@NA Hydrogel for Selective Osteoclast Inhibition and Enhanced Bone‐Vessel Regeneration in Osteoporotic Bone Defects

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces the SF‐ZIF@NA hydrogel system for osteoporotic bone defect treatment. The hydrogel inhibits osteoclast fusion by removing sialic acid and preserves the anabolic function of precursor osteoclasts (pOCs). It also releases Zn2⁺ in acidic conditions, promoting osteogenesis and angiogenesis.
