Structure of a phosphazene–aniline compound

Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 1993
The title compound [bis(trimethylphosphine phenylimide)-bis(aniline) (I), a 1:1 ratio of phosphazene and aniline molecules] was synthesized from the trapping of an in situ palladium nitrene complex with trimethylphosphine. Crystals of (I) consist of tetramers (two phosphazene and two aniline molecules) located at the (0,0,1/2) center of inversion in ...

Personal Air Sampling for Vapors of Aniline Compounds

American Industrial Hygiene Association Journal, 1975
A method has been developed for air sampling and laboratory analysis of vapors of seven aniline compounds: aniline, N,N-dimethylaniline, o-toluidine, 2,4-xylidine, panisidine, o-anisidine, and p-nitroaniline. Air is drawn by a personal sampling pump from a worker's breathing zone through a tube containing silica gel to collect any anilines present.

Determination of aniline and quinoline compounds in textiles

Journal of Chromatography A, 2016
A simple method for simultaneous determination of twenty-one analytes, belonging to two classes of compounds, aromatic amines and quinolines, is presented. Several of the analytes considered in this study frequently occur in textiles goods on the open market and have been related to allergic contact dermatitis and/or are proven or suspected carcinogens.

ANILINE AND RELATED COMPOUNDS AS CORROSION INHIBITORS

Anti-Corrosion Manual, 1974
Due to the constituent nitrogen atom of the amino group, amines have been extensively used as inhibitors of metallic corrosion. This article reviews the reported uses of aniline and related aromatic amines as corrosion inhibitors.

Oxidation of substituted anilines to nitroso-compounds

Journal of the Chemical Society C: Organic, 1970
2,6-Difluoroaniline and several related primary amines are oxidised by peroxybenzoic acid in chloroform to the corresponding nitroso-compounds. Treatment of 2,6-difluoroaniline with sodium azide gives 4-fluoro-2,1,3-benzoxadiazole, which on nitration gives the 7-nitro-derivative.

Pesticide Transformation to Aniline and Azo Compounds in Soil

Science, 1967
The herbicide 3′,4′-dichloropropionanilide decomposes in soil to carbon dioxide and 3,4-dichloroaniline. and two molecules of the latter compound are condensed to form 3,3′,4,4′-tetrachloroazobenzene. Soil microorganisms are involved in both transformations.

Hypobetalipoproteinemic agents. 2. Compounds related to 4-(1-adamantyloxy)aniline

Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 1979
While the previously used displacement reaction of sodim 1-adamantyl oxide on 4-fluoronitrobenzene was applicable to the preparation of 4-(1-adamantyloxy)aniline and several related compounds, certain derivatives were not easily accessible by this route.

Oxidation of substituted anilines by horseradish peroxidase compound II

Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1990
The kinetics of oxidation of eight monosubstituted anilines catalyzed by horseradish peroxidase compound II has been studied at pH 7.00 and 7.60. With p-toluidine the rates of oxidation by compound II have been measured at 21 pH values between 3.60 and 10.25. The rate–pH profile indicates that an acidic form of compound II and the electrically neutral,

[Effect of thiol compounds on aniline toxicity and aniline metabolism].

Eksperimentalna meditsina i morfologiia, 1980
The authors examined systematically the influence of some thiol compounds on the drug metabolism, investigating the effect of potassium ethylxanthogenate, diethyldithiocarbamata, inithiol and penicilamine on the aniline toxicity, methemoglobin formation and aniline-hydroxylase activity.
