n‐Type Polymer Radio Frequency Rectifiers Operating at 18.5 GHz

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining an n‐doped polymer semiconductor with wafer‐scale asymmetric planar electrodes featuring work function‐engineered contacts yields radio‐frequency diodes and rectifying circuits operating at up to 18.5 GHz. The devices combine scalable manufacturing with an operating frequency previously unattainable by large‐area organic electronics ...

Performance evaluation of the Philips MOSAIC small animal PET scanner

European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging, 2006
In this study an evaluation of the performance of the Philips MOSAIC small animal PET scanner is presented, with special emphasis on the ability of the system to provide quantitatively accurate PET images. The performance evaluation was structured according to NEMA-like procedures. The transaxial spatial resolution of the system (radial component) ranged

System Architecture of the LabPET Small Animal PET Scanner

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 2008
To address modern molecular imaging requirements, a digital positron emission tomography (PET) scanner for small animals has been developed at Universite de Sherbrooke. Based on individual readout of avalanche photodiodes (APD) coupled to LYSO/LGSO phoswich detectors, the scanner supports up to 4608 channels in a 16.2 cm diameter, 11.25 cm axial field ...

Design of a small animal MR compatible PET scanner

IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, 1999
Using a combination of Monte Carlo simulations and experimental measurements we have designed a small-animal MRI-compatible PET (McPET) scanner for simultaneous PET imaging and MRI of mice and rats in vivo. The scanner consists of one ring of 480 LSO (Lu/sub 2/SiO/sub 5/) crystals arranged in three layers, with 160 crystals per layer.
