The effect of sodium thiopental as a GABA mimetic drug in neonatal period on expression of GAD65 and GAD67 genes in hippocampus of newborn and adult male rats [PDF]
Objective(s): Development of the nervous system in human and most animals is continued after the birth. Critical role of this period in generation and specialization of the neuronal circuits is confirmed in numerous studies.

A 3D anisotropic hydrogel derived from heart extracellular matrix guides cytoskeletal alignment and nuclear remodeling in reprogrammed cardiomyocyte‐like cells. This study reveals how matrix alignment modulates nuclear envelope dynamics and chromatin state, triggering transcriptional and functional maturation.

We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.
