Noncanonical conformation of CDR L1 in the anti-IL-23 antibody CNTO4088. [PDF]

open access: yesActa Crystallogr Sect F Struct Biol Cryst Commun, 2010
CNTO4088 is a monoclonal antibody to human IL-23. The X-ray structure of the Fab fragment revealed an unusual noncanonical conformation of CDR L1. Most antibodies with the kappa light chain exhibit a canonical structure for CDR L1 in which residue 29 anchors the CDR loop to the framework.

Combined anti-CD40 and anti-IL-23 monoclonal antibody therapy effectively suppresses tumor growth and metastases. [PDF]

open access: yesCancer Research, 2014
Tumor-induced immunosuppression remains one of the major obstacles to many potentially effective cancer therapies and vaccines. Host interleukin (IL)-23 suppresses the immune response during tumor initiation, growth, and metastases, and neutralization of

Bullous pemphigoid induced by anti-IL-23 monoclonal antibody in a psoriatic patient: a case report. [PDF]

open access: yesFront Med (Lausanne)
Psoriasis, a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory skin disorder, is increasingly managed with anti-IL-23 biologics, such as guselkumab. Nevertheless, their rare adverse effects remain poorly understood. This study presents the case of a 78-year-old woman with moderate-to-severe psoriasis who presented with bullous pemphigoid (BP) 2 weeks after ...

Pharmacokinetics of Tildrakizumab (MK‐3222), an Anti‐IL‐23 Monoclonal Antibody, After Intravenous or Subcutaneous Administration in Healthy Subjects [PDF]

open access: yesBasic & Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology, 2018
AbstractTildrakizumab, a high‐affinity humanized IgG1k antibody that selectively binds interleukin (IL)‐23 p19 subunit of cytokine IL‐23 and neutralizes its function, is under investigation for treatment of moderate‐to‐severe chronic plaque psoriasis.

Anti-IL-23 monoclonal antibody synergizes in combination with targeted therapies or IL-2 to suppress tumor growth and metastases. [PDF]

open access: yesCancer Research, 2011
Immunosuppressive barricades erected by tumors during the evolution of immune escape represent a major obstacle to many potentially effective cancer therapies and vaccines. We have shown that host interleukin (IL)-23 suppresses the innate immune response

Xuetongsu attenuates synovial inflammation in rheumatoid arthritis by inhibiting the IL-23/IL-17/NF-κB inflammatory axis

open access: yesFrontiers in Pharmacology
IntroductionPersistent synovial hyperplasia, a hallmark of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), can lead to joint deformities. During the pathogenesis of RA, the expression of IL-23 promotes Th17 cell proliferation and IL-17 production, which in turn upregulates ...
