EV‐LYSG101: Extracellular Vesicles Loaded With Lysin LYSG101 for Potent Anti‐Staphylococcal Activity

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Biology, Volume 5, Issue 8, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Biofilm‐associated staphylococcal infections remain exceptionally difficult to treat due to the presence of resilient staphylococcal biofilms and the limited effectiveness of currently available antibiotics. To combat persistent infections, providers are often forced to use prolonged courses of combination antimicrobial therapies that have ...

Regenerative Microbiology: Harnessing Bacterial Antagonism and Spatiotemporal Signaling for Diabetic Wound Repair

open access: yesSmart Medicine, Volume 5, Issue 4, August 2026.
This review introduces “Regenerative Microbiology,” a framework that uses bacterial antagonism and phage therapy to address diabetic wound dysbiosis. By activating the p40/EGFR/PI3K axis and providing a vascular‐stratified precision roadmap, this approach shifts the paradigm from antimicrobial suppression to intelligent, microbe‐driven tissue ...
