IgG Antibody responses in mice coinfected with Toxocara canis and other helminths or protozoan parasites [PDF]

open access: yesRevista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo, 2012
The immune response expressed by IgG antibodies in BALB/c mice experimentally infected with Toxocara canis, was studied with the aim of verifying the possible in vivo cross-reactivity between antigens of T. canis and other parasites (Ascaris suum, Taenia crassiceps, Schistosoma mansoni, Strongyloides venezuelensis and Toxoplasma gondii).

Surface antigenic change during differentiation of a parasitic protozoan, Leishmania mexicana: Identification by monoclonal antibodies. [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 1982
The fusion of SP2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from mice immunized with Leishmania mexicana amazonensis promastigotes produced hybridoma clones. Indirect immunofluorescent antibody assay with live leishmanias showed that the monoclonal antibody 6H12 recognized only the antigens bound to the surface of L. mexicana amazonensis promastigotes. It also

Systemic and Cutaneous Mucus Antibody Responses of Channel Catfish Immunized against the Protozoan ParasiteIchthyophthirius multifiliis [PDF]

open access: yesClinical and Vaccine Immunology, 2003
ABSTRACTFish acquire protective immunity against the ciliated protozoan parasiteIchthyophthirius multifiliisfollowing sublethal infection or inoculation withI. multifiliisimmobilization antigens (i-antigens). In both cases, parasite-immobilizing antibodies have been identified in sera and mucosal secretions.
