BCG HSP70 Reprograms Macrophages via Central Trained Immunity to Suppress Prostate Cancer
BCG‐derived HSP70 (Dnak) safely induces central trained immunity via epigenetic, metabolic, and O‐GlcNAcylation reprogramming of bone marrow progenitors, driving tumor‐associated macrophages toward an M1‐like phenotype to suppress prostate cancer. ABSTRACT Trained immunity offers a promising yet clinically challenging strategy for cancer immunotherapy,

Nef and Vpu protect infected cells from ADCP mediated by plasma from people with HIV-1
The HIV-1 envelope glycoprotein (Env) represents the only viral antigen at the surface of infected cells, making it an ideal target for antibody-based therapies. Most antibodies elicited in people with HIV (PWH) do not recognize Env in its native “closed”

Increased phagocytosis and decreased antibody dependent cellular cytotoxicity in normal pregnancy
As changes of phagocyte activities in pregnancy are poorly defined, the aim of study was to test peripheral blood phagocyte functions. The effect of individual pregnancy sera on autologous leucocytes 2-3 months after delivery, as well as the effect of pooled pregnancy sera on leucocytoe from nonpregnant controls were tested.

Redirecting Monocyte Differentiation With Engineered Extracellular Vesicles for Glioma Immunotherapy
A dual‐targeting engineered extracellular vesicles (M1‐CS‐EVs) platform is developed to redirect monocytes differentiation into anti‐tumor macrophages for glioma immunotherapy. This nanoplatform combines CAR‐mediated tumor recognition with localized CD47 blockade, leading to synergistic immune activation and potent suppression of tumor progression in ...

VEGFR‐2 signaling in OSCC activates Src–STAT6‐dependent CSF2 transcription, driving tumor‐derived GM‐CSF secretion. GM‐CSF programs neutrophils to express PD‐L1 through STAT5–mTOR/S6K signaling, suppressing cytotoxic CD8+ T cells. This pathway reveals a tumor–neutrophil immune checkpoint circuit that limits anti‐PD‐1 responsiveness in OSCC.

Extra-Neutralizing FcR-Mediated Antibody Functions for a Universal Influenza Vaccine
While neutralizing antibody titers measured by hemagglutination inhibition have been proposed as a correlate of protection following influenza vaccination, neutralization alone is a modest predictor of protection against seasonal influenza.

The efficacy of many therapeutic unconjugated monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), including those targeting CD20 in CLL, requires immune cell-mediated cytotoxicity. mAbs have often been optimized for natural killer (NK) cell antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) activity.

Single‐cell transcriptomics reveals the cellular response of Macrobrachium hainanense to carbonate alkalinity stress. Alkalinity stress impairs branchial ammonia excretion, induces mitochondrial dysfunction, and drives cell‐type‐specific changes in gills and hemocytes.

Assessing the functional activity of vaccine-induced antibodies is critical for evaluating immunogenicity. We developed and validated antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) assays to quantify ...

Morphological anisotropy directs the in vivo transport under physiological flow and clearance of silica nanocarriers. Increasing anisotropy reduces cellular uptake, suppresses hepatic and splenic sequestration, and prolongs systemic circulation by steering particles toward the central flow core.
