Cord Blood‐Derived Fibroblast Activation Protein‐Targeted Chimeric Antigen Receptor Natural Killer Cells Persist in Vivo

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
We generated cord blood‐derived FAP‐targeted CAR NK cells and evaluated their activity against cancer‐associated fibroblasts. These cells showed antigen‐specific cytotoxicity in vitro and robust persistence in a pleural dissemination model, although in vivo anti‐CAF efficacy was limited, supporting further development of stromal‐targeted cellular ...

Evolution of CAR‐T Therapy: Functional Engineering, Manufacturing Innovation, and Future In Vivo Strategies

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
CAR‐T therapy is evolving across four interconnected dimensions: functional engineering, manufacturing innovation, alternative cell sources, and in vivo CAR programming. Together, these advances address limitations in therapeutic efficacy, safety, manufacturing complexity, scalability, and accessibility, providing complementary paths toward the next ...

BTK Inhibitor Ibrutinib Reduces Bispecific Antibody‐Related CRS Without Undermining the Anti‐Tumor Efficacy

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
BTK inhibition reprograms macrophages to suppress IL‐6/IL‐8/IL‐10‐driven CRS without compromising BsAb efficacy. ABSTRACT Bispecific antibodies (BsAbs) have shown marked efficacy in relapsed or refractory (R/R) B‐cell non‐Hodgkin lymphoma (B‐NHL). However, their clinical utility is constrained by cytokine release syndrome (CRS).

Peanut‐Specific IgG4 mAbs Promote Regulatory Immune Responses Ex Vivo and Improve Oral Immunotherapy in Mice

open access: yesClinical &Experimental Allergy, EarlyView.
Allergen‐specific IgG4 mAbs were shown to block facilitated IgE binding to B cells and redirect allergens towards myeloid APC, leading to increased IL‐10 production in vitro. In combination with oral AIT, the mAbs inhibited mast cell activation and sustained allergen‐specific IgG4 levels in an in vivo model of peanut allergy. ABSTRACT Background Peanut

Aberrant Expression of Multiple T‐Cell Markers in Primary Cutaneous Follicle Center Lymphoma: A Rare Case Report

open access: yesJournal of Cutaneous Pathology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Aberrant expression of T‐cell markers in B‐cell lymphomas is rare and can pose diagnostic challenges. We report a case of a 65‐year‐old man presenting with newly developed scalp nodules. Histopathology revealed nodular lymphoid infiltrates composed of large centrocytes and centroblasts.
