Oxidative Stress Modulation and Glutathione System Response During a 10-Day Multi-Stressor Field Training

open access: yesJournal of Functional Morphology and Kinesiology
Objectives: To evaluate how a 10-day multi-stressor field-training course—combining high physical and psycho-emotional demands, caloric restriction, and severe sleep deprivation—affects systemic oxidative/antioxidative status and biomarkers of nucleic ...

A Smart Bio‐Battery Facilitates Diabetic Bone Defect Repair Via Inducing Macrophage Reprogramming and Synergistically Modulating Bone Remodeling Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This research presents a novel implantable bio‐battery, GF‐OsG, tailored for diabetic bone repair. GF‐OsG generates microcurrents in high‐glucose conditions to enhance vascularization, shift macrophages to the M2 phenotype, and regulate immune responses.

Foliar Methyl Jasmonate Application Activates Antioxidant Mechanisms to Counteract Water Deficits and Aluminum Stress in Vaccinium corymbosum L.

open access: yesHorticulturae
Due to climate change, water deficits (WDs) and aluminum (Al) toxicity are increasing, affecting plants, especially crops such as blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum L.). The application of methyl jasmonate (MeJA) could mitigate these effects.

Bioinspired Bromination Enables Extensible, Strain‐Stiffening Resilin Peptide Scaffolds with Tunable Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bioinspired bromination of a resilin‐derived peptide enables the fabrication of electrospun nanofibrous scaffolds that uniquely combine strain‐stiffening elasticity, proteolytic stability, and antioxidant functionality. These brominated peptide–gelatin hybrids mimic the extensibility of natural elastomers, demonstrating tunable mechanical resilience ...

INTENSITY OF OXIDATIVE STRESS DEVELOPMENT IN RAT MAJOR CEREBRAL HEMISPHERES UNDER COMBINED CONDITIONS OF SYSTEMIC INFLAMMATORY RESPONSE, CHANGES IN THE NORMAL LIGHT-DARK CYCLE, AND FLUOXETINE ADMINISTRATION

open access: yesПроблеми екології та медицини
At present, the relevance of examining changes to the normal light-dark cycle is increasing, and the connection between the development of the systemic inflammatory response (SIR) and circadian rhythm disorders has been confirmed.
