Hemostatic system changes predictive value in patients with ischemic brain disorders [PDF]
The aim of this research was to determine the importance of tracking the dynamics of changes of the hemostatic system factors (aggregation of thrombocytes, D-dimer, PAI-1, antithrombin III, protein C and protein S, factor VII and factor VIII, fibrin ...

Deficiency of Natural Anticoagulants Involves in the Occurrence of Arterial Thrombosis
Background The role of natural anticoagulant deficiency in the development of arterial thrombosis (AT) is controversial. Objective Our objectives were to assess the deficiency of natural anticoagulants, including protein S (PS), protein C (PC ...

This study shows that tafoxiparin 300 mg can increase the rate of cervical ripening and the likelihood of spontaneous onset of labor, while also reducing the duration of labor in women achieving spontaneous onset of labor. The favorable safety profile of tafoxiparin suggests suitability for routine clinical use, including home administration.

Hierarchical clustering of viscoelastic and conventional coagulation parameters identified three distinct phenotypes in V‐V ECMO patients, revealing substantial APTT–CK‐R discordance and highlighting the value of TEG‐derived markers for detecting coagulopathy not captured by standard monitoring.

In this meta‐analysis of 2 775 adult ECMO patients from non‐randomized studies, direct thrombin inhibitors and low‐molecular‐weight heparins demonstrated a favorable efficacy and safety profile over unfractionated heparin. These findings suggest them to be effective alternatives to unfractionated heparin, underscoring the urgent need for randomized ...
