Clinical pharmacology of anxiolytics

It is increasingly diffi cult to defi ne what an anxiolytic is, since anxiety is multiple although many symptoms are common. On the other hand the most used drugs in different forms of anxiety were fi rst used as antidepressants. This article tries to put together the different effective anxiolytics used and describe their pharmacology.

Perinatal outcomes and maternal health before and after single motherhood through assisted conception: A multiregistry study in Sweden

Single mothers through assisted conception in Sweden face higher psychiatric risks before and after childbirth compared to partnered women through autologous IVF. Despite comparable perinatal outcomes, our findings highlight the need for comprehensive preconception medical screening and postpartum psychosocial support for these mothers.
