Different apoprotein(a) isoform proportions in serum and carotid plaque

Atherosclerosis, 2007
Cardio- and/or cerebro-vascular risk are associated with high lipoprotein (a) [Lp(a)] levels and low-molecular-weight (LMW) apo(a) isoforms. Aims of this study were to evaluate the deposition of apo(a) isoforms and apoprotein B (apo B) in atherosclerotic plaque from patients (males and females) who had carotid endarterectomy for severe stenosis, and to

Pulmonary surfactant apoproteins: a review of protein and genomic structure

American Journal of Physiology-Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology, 1989
In recent years, as the complexity of the surfactant system has become more apparent, investigators with an increasingly diverse set of skills have been attracted to the study of this secretory product of the alveolar epithelium. In addition to advancing our knowledge of the mechanisms underlying the mechanical stability of the lung, recent studies of

Diyet ve simvastatin tedavisinin lipit profili, lipoprotein (a), apoprotein A-1, apoprotein B üzerine olan etkilerinin karşılaştırılması

2020
m ABSTRACT In order to the optimal treatment of hyperlipidemia one of the major risk factors for atherosclerosis, the main aim is to decrease high plasma lipids, lipoprotein (a) levels. In this study, the patients with primary hyperlipidemia and atherogenic index ( cholesterol / HDL ratio ) > 5.6 were studied.

[Solid-phase immunoenzyme analysis of apoprotein A-1].

Laboratornoe delo, 1990
The authors have optimized indirect solid-phase enzyme immunoassay for measuring human blood serum apoA-1. Immunochemical identification of the obtained apoA-1 and specific antibodies has been carried out, working regimens for the components and conjugates employed have been selected.

[Determination of apoprotein A-1 by immunoenzyme analysis].

Voprosy meditsinskoi khimii, 1991
Indirect solid-phase immunoenzymatic assay was improved and adapted for quantitative estimation of apo A-I in blood serum. Immunochemical identification of apo A-I was carried out and specific antibodies were obtained. Various procedures of blood serum pretreatment affected dissimilarly the detection of antigenic determinants in apo A-I.
