Wir berichten, wie über eine Zwei‐Komponenten‐Strategie die starke Nierentoxizität des Antibiotikums Colistin verringert werden kann. Dazu werden nicht‐nephrotoxische trans‐Cycloocten‐Colistin‐Derivate durch das tetrazinverknüpfte, bakterienspezifische Peptid Ubiquicidin (29–41) über einen click‐to‐release‐Mechanismus aktiviert.
