Supermodular comparison of dependence models and multivariate processes, with applications
The supermodular order is a well-known tool to compare the intrinsic degree of dependence between random vectors or multivariate processes. In this note we describe a general framework for the supermodular comparisons of models incorporating individual and common factors.

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Models beyond the Dirichlet process [PDF]
Bayesian nonparametric inference is a relatively young area of research and it has recently undergone a strong development. Most of its success can be explained by the considerable degree of exibility it ensures in statistical modelling, if compared to ...

Reliability analysis of mine ventilation fans based on Markov process theory
The reliability of mine ventilation fans plays a crucial role in aerological systems and is determined by a combination of various geological, mining-technological, and structural factors, most of which are stochastic in nature.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

On Functional Central Limit Theorems for Dependent, Heterogeneous Tail Arrays with Applications to Tail Index and Tail Dependence Estimators [PDF]
We establish functional central limit theorems for a broad class of dependent, heterogeneous tail arrays encountered in the extreme value literature, including extremal exceedances, tail empirical processes and tail empirical quantile processes.

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...
