Landen inequalities for a class of hypergeometric functions with applications [PDF]

Summary: In this paper, we study a class of Gaussian hypergeometric function \(_2F_1(a,b;(a+b+1)/2;x)(a,b > 0)\), and find the maximal regions of \(ab\) plane in the first quadrant where the wellknown Landen identities for the complete elliptic integrals of the first kind turn on respective inequalities valid for each \(x \in (0,1)\).

CellPolaris: Transfer Learning for Gene Regulatory Network Construction to Guide Cell State Transitions

CellPolaris decodes how transcription factors guide cell fate by building gene regulatory networks from transcriptomic data using transfer learning. It generates tissue‐ and cell‐type‐specific networks, identifies master regulators in cell state transitions, and simulates TF perturbations in developmental processes.

Women with obesity often deliver large‐for‐gestational‐age (LGA) infants. Single‐nucleus RNA sequencing of term placenta reveals that hypoxia and TNF‐α signaling in syncytiotrophoblasts are featured in maternal obesity, but inflammatory signatures in Hofbauer cells and response to lipid or carbohydrate metabolism in fibroblasts are specific to LGA.
