Integrated Aquaponic Co-Culture of Nile Tilapia and African Catfish: Effects on Plant Yield, Fish Growth, Nutrient Profile, and Heavy Metal Accumulation. [PDF]
Food Sci NutrAn integrated aquaponic co‐culture system combining Nile tilapia and African catfish with eggplant was evaluated. Tilapia growth was consistent across treatments, while a slight reduction in catfish performance occurred with lower stocking density. Plant yield and nutrient profiles of fish showed no significant differences among treatments.
