Two new tirucallane triterpenoids from the leaves of Aquilaria sinensis

Archives of Pharmacal Research, 2013
Two new tirucallane triterpenoids, aquilacallanes A-B (1-2), together with 15 known compounds (3-17) were isolated from the leaves of Aquilaria sinensis. The structures of these new compounds were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analyses.

The structure and development of interxylary and external phloem in Aquilaria sinensis

IAWA Journal, 2018
The structure and development of interxylary phloem (IP) and external phloem in Aquilaria sinensis were investigated using light and scanning electron microscopy. Complete IP strands were isolated, measuring 14 ± 4 mm in length and 417 ± 124 μm in width. The outer margin of IP was composed of two to three layers of fusiform parenchyma cells.

Chemical constituents from the petioles and leaves of Aquilaria sinensis

Biochemical Systematics and Ecology, 2015
Abstract Nineteen reported compounds ( 1–19 ) were obtained from the dried petioles and leaves of Aquilaria sinensis (Thymelaeacea) by phytochemical methods. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic methods. Among them, compounds 6–14 and 16 were firstly obtained from the genus Aquilaria , 2 and 3 were obtained from A.

A novel degraded sesquiterpene from the fresh stem ofAquilaria sinensis

Journal of Asian Natural Products Research, 2011
A novel degraded sesquiterpene, named aquilarin B (1), together with two known compounds (2 and 3), was isolated from the EtOH extract of the fresh stem of Aquilaria sinensis (Lour.) Gilg. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR (HMQC, (1)H-(1)H COSY, HMBC, and ROESY).
