Sequential Patterning of Photoresponsive Hydrogels Directs Crypt Fission and Reveals the Role of Epithelial Curvature on Fission Symmetry

Deterministic crypt fission is achieved in intestinal organoids using photopatternable hydrogels with spatiotemporal control. Daughter‐crypt symmetry is shown to depend on parent‐crypt geometry and epithelial curvature, while myosin‐dependent mechanosensing links tissue shape to regenerative outcomes.

A Thickness‐Invariant Origami Robot With Integrated Actuation and Multimodal Locomotion

A thickness‐invariant variation on the Yoshimura origami pattern is used as the basis of a robot, allowing power, actuation, and control systems to be embedded within the thickened panels of the pattern. Sublattice‐Resolved Magnetoelastic Coupling and Opposing Pressure Responses in the Frustrated Magnetocaloric GdMn2O5

In GdMn2O5, sublattice‐resolved EXAFS and diffraction analysis reveal pronounced spin‐phonon coupling and an unexpected opposing pressure response: the Mn‐driven Néel temperature slightly decreases while the Gd‐sublattice ordering temperature rises under pressures up to 0.86 GPa.

A Preclinical Multifunctional Capsule Robot with Unified Diagnosis and Targeted Thermal Therapy for Gastrointestinal Diseases

A proof‐of‐concept multifunctional capsule robot integrates diagnostic imaging, magnetic navigation, wireless power transfer, and targeted thermotherapy for gastrointestinal applications. Magnetically guided positioning and stable wireless power enable localized thermal ablation, achieving controlled heating and high cell mortality in vitro.
