PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Study of aging life for EMU arresters based on aging tests and principal component analysis method

open access: yes机车电传动
On-board lightning arresters are critical components for ensuring the safety of EMUs operating on high-speed railways. This paper focuses on arresters mounted on EMUs as the research object.

Aging monitoring and fault positioning for zinc oxide surge arresters based on the fifth harmonic of the leakage current

open access: yesFrontiers in Physics
Current techniques for aging monitoring and fault positioning for zinc oxide surge arresters usually use the third harmonic of the leakage resistive current.

Adjusting the Parameters of Metal Oxide Gapless Surge Arresters’ Equivalent Circuits Using the Harmony Search Method

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
The appropriate circuit modeling of metal oxide gapless surge arresters is critical for insulation coordination studies. Metal oxide arresters present a dynamic behavior for fast front surges; namely, their residual voltage is dependent on the peak value,

New design of high voltage surge arresters [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Zinc-oxide material is an important and widely used element in the high voltage gapless surge arresters. Equally important is the usually polymeric insulating material used for the surge arrester housing. This work aims to develop a new design of gapless

Blood‐based proteomic profiling reveals context‐dependent changes in BCL2‐associated signaling during taxane therapy in breast cancer patients

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Chemotherapy side effects significantly impact cancer survivors' quality of life. Using protein levels in blood samples from breast cancer patients before and after 12 weeks of taxane treatment, we detected treatment‐dependent changes in calcium signaling and aging pathways associated with cancer recurrence.

Simulation and Analysis of Protection of Electrical Networks against Lightning Strikes Using ATP/EMTP and MATLAB/SIMULINK

open access: yesAlgerian Journal of Signals and Systems
The objective of my work is the simulation and analysis of the protection of electrical networks against lightning strikes. To achieve this goal, I will use the simulation programs ATP/EMTP and MATLAB/SIMULINK to simulate a lightning strike in two cases:

Development of a ±660 kV DC transmission line arrester

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
In order to improve the lightning withstand level of ±660 kV DC transmission line in China, the authors had begun to develop the ±660 kV DC line arrester since 2014, which was developed successfully in 2016.

Pharmacological inhibition of the PERK pathway modulates hepatocellular carcinoma growth and immune signaling

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Pharmacological inhibition of PERK in a DEN‐induced mouse model of liver cancer does not reduce tumor burden but alters cellular stress signaling. Despite blocking PERK activity, downstream stress responses, including CHOP expression, remain active, suggesting compensatory mechanisms within the unfolded protein response that may influence tumor ...
