Arsenic trioxide transformed acute promyelocytic leukemia therapy and shows promise against HIV. A new method to solubilize the mineral realgar produces different arsenic species depleting the main arsenic target, nuclear PML protein, and retaining effects on leukemic and HIV reservoir cells, while minimizing off‐target damage.

Real‐Time Self‐Optimization of Quantum Dot Laser Emissions During Machine Learning‐Assisted Epitaxy
This work presents a machine learning‐driven approach integrated with in situ high‐energy electron diffraction (RHEED) monitoring to automate the optimization of quantum dot (QD) growth for lasers. A 3.2‐fold increase in photoluminescence intensity is achieved alongside a narrow spectral linewidth.

Herein we show the synthesis and characterization of organo‐f‐element‐functionalized polyanionic compounds, including the triangular P33− and the P144− polyphosphide Zintl anion. The title compounds, which are the largest organo‐f‐element polyphosphides known to date, were obtained by reduction of white phosphorus with precursors of the early ...

Spatial Variation of Arsenic in Soil, Irrigation Water, and Plant Parts: A Microlevel Study
Arsenic pollution became a great problem in the recent past in different countries including Bangladesh. The microlevel studies were conducted to see the spatial variation of arsenic in soils and plant parts contaminated through ground water irrigation ...

Speciation Analysis of Arsenic in Soil Samples by Liquid-Liquid Extraction and Electrochemical Detection with Gold micro-wire electrode [PDF]
Soil collected from random areas of non-ferrous mines and smelters was studied in order to develop a low-cost but effective method for quantifying arsenic (III), arsenic (V), and total arsenic in contaminated soil. Hydrochloric acid microwave extractions

Growth control of GaAs nanowires using pulsed laser deposition with arsenic over pressure
Using pulsed laser ablation with arsenic over pressure, the growth conditions for GaAs nanowires have been systematically investigated and optimized. Arsenic over pressure with As$_2$ molecules was introduced to the system by thermal decomposition of ...
