Schiff based derived homogeneous catalysts for ring‐opening terpolymerization
One‐pot synthesis of degradable terpolymers from l‐lactide, propylene oxide and CO₂ using diverse catalysts is described, revealing structure–property relationships for tailored applications in sustainable materials. Abstract In this study, we synthesized and evaluated a series of Schiff base cobalt catalysts for the terpolymerization of propylene ...

Adsorption of aspartic acid on kaolinite [PDF]
The interaction of aspartic acid with kaolinite was studied by potentiometric titrations and by adsorption measurements both at constant aspartate concentration (but varying pH) and at a constant pH of 5.5. The temperature was 25 degrees C, and the ionic medium 5 mM KNO3.

Conjugation of aspartic acid with 4-bromophenylacetic acid, an auxin analogue of aspartic acid
Phytochemistry, 1987Abstract Tobacco mesophyll protoplasts conjugate the auxins indoleacetic acid and naphthaleneacetic acid with aspartic acid very efficiently. This conjugation was found to be correlated with the toxicity of these molecules to protoplast-derived cells grown at low densities.

Is aspartic acid a regulator of hematopoiesis?
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 1992The effect of aspartic acid on myelopoiesis was examined. A method of bone marrow cultivation was used in diffusion chambers in vivo. We found that injection of 1 x 10(-4) g/kg aspartic acid to intact rats during 5 days resulted in increase of cloning efficiency of granulocyte-progenitor cells by 24 per cent and growth of cluster/colony-forming unit ...

Antidepressant Activity of Aspartic Acid Derivatives [PDF]
Antidepressant activity of N-phenyl(benzyl)amino derivatives of aspartic acid was studied on various experimental models of depression. IEM-1770 (30 mg/kg) and IEM-1944 (20 mg/kg) exhibited antidepressant activity after single injection in the forced swimming and tail suspension tests.
