Infectious Keratitis Caused by Aspergillus tubingensis
Cornea, 2009To report 2 cases of keratomycosis caused by Aspergillus tubingensis. The therapeutic courses were recorded for 2 male patients, 52 and 78 years old, with fungal keratitis caused by black Aspergillus strains. Morphological examination of the isolates was carried out on malt extract agar plates.

Sexual recombination inAspergillus tubingensis
Mycologia, 2015Aspergillus tubingensis from section Nigri (black Aspergilli) is closely related to A. niger and is used extensively in the industrial production of enzymes and organic acids. We recently discovered sexual reproduction in A. tubingensis, and in this study we demonstrate that the progeny are products of meiosis.

Biodegradation of polyester polyurethane by Aspergillus tubingensis
Environmental Pollution, 2017The xenobiotic nature and lack of degradability of polymeric materials has resulted in vast levels of environmental pollution and numerous health hazards. Different strategies have been developed and still more research is being in progress to reduce the impact of these polymeric materials.

Inverting character of α-glucuronidase A from Aspergillus tubingensis
Biochimica et Biophysica Acta (BBA) - General Subjects, 2000Alpha-glucuronidase A from Aspergillus tubingensis was found to be capable of liberating 4-O-methyl-D-glucuronic acid (MeGlcA) only from those beechwood glucuronoxylan fragments in which the acid is attached to the non-reducing terminal xylopyranosyl residue.

Biosolubilization of poorly soluble rock phosphates by Aspergillus tubingensis and Aspergillus niger
Bioresource Technology, 2002Three isolates of Aspergillus tubingensis and two isolates of Aspergillus niger isolated from rhizospheric soils were tested on solubilization of different rock phosphates. All the isolates of Aspergillus were capable of solubilizing all the natural rock phosphates. A.

Interpretation of mtDNA RFLP variability among Aspergillus tubingensis isolates
Antonie van Leeuwenhoek, 2006Aspergillus tubingensis isolates collected from distant geographic areas were earlier classified into six groups on the basis of the mtDNA RFLP variability they exhibited (mtDNA types 2a-2f). In the present work, we investigated the reason for the intraspecific mtDNA variability and we describe here how this fungus, with a relatively small ...

Identification of Aspergillus tubingensis causing pomegranate fruit rot in China
Australasian Plant Pathology, 2021The fungus Aspergillus tubingensis is widely known from its use in industrial fermentation and other processes. More rarely, it is an opportunistic pathogen of humans or plants. In the present study, we found one rotten pomegranate fruit (Punica granatum) with black patches of rot and sporulation on the surface. Three A.

Sexual reproduction in Aspergillus tubingensis from section Nigri
Mycologia, 2013A sclerotium-forming member of Aspergillus section Nigri was sampled from a population in a single field in North Carolina, USA, and identified as A. tubingensis based on genealogical concordance analysis. Aspergillus tubingensis was shown to be heterothallic, with individual strains containing either a MAT1-1 or MAT1-2 mating-type gene.

Efficient immobilization behavior and mechanism investigation of Pb(II) by Aspergillus tubingensis
Biotechnology Letters, 2022To understand the mechanism of Pb(II) immobilized by Pb(II)-tolerant microbes.Aspergillus tubingensis isolated from the lead-zine mine was investigated through surface morphology observation and multiple experimental analysis in order to elucidate the Pb(II) biosorption and immobilization behavior. The maximum Pb(II) uptake capacity of A.
