Cost-effectiveness analysis of aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular events among patients with type 2 diabetes in China.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
The use of aspirin for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease (CVD) in patients with diabetes mellitus (DM) is associated with lower rates of cardiovascular events but increased risks of bleeding complications.

Flexible framework of computing binding free energy using the energy representation theory of solution [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
Host-guest binding plays a crucial role in the functionality of various systems, and its efficiency is often quantified using the binding free energy, which represents the free-energy difference between the bound and dissociated states. Here, we propose a methodology to compute the binding free energy based on the energy representation (ER) theory of ...

Decoding Chemo‐Mechanical Failure Mechanisms of Solid‐State Lithium Metal Battery Under Low Stack Pressure via Optical Fiber Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
By FBG sensing the Li/electrolyte interfacial stress in solid‐state battery, the Li metal anode failure reasons as dendrite‐induced uneven stress distribution at electrode/electrolyte interface are disclosed. A Li–Sn composite anode is demonstrated effective in stabilizing the interface mechanics and the solid‐state full cell performance at low stack ...

Enthalpy‐Driven Molecular Engineering Enables High‐Performance Quasi‐Solid‐State Electrolytes for Long Life Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a co‐polymerization approach using 1,1,1‐trifluoro‐2,3‐epoxypropane to integrate lithium nitrate into poly‐DOL‐based quasi‐solid‐state electrolytes. The resulting electrolyte exhibits high ionic conductivity (2.23 mS cm−1), exceptional Coulombic efficiency (99.34%) in Li|Cu cell, and long‐term stability (2000 cycles in Li|LFP cells)
