Network‐based risk stratification of people living with HIV (PWH) on prolonged therapy using multi‐omics data identifies 44% of the patients are at risk of immunometabolic complications. A senescence‐associated myeloid cell‐driven plasma microenvironment drives immunometabolic dysregulation in at‐risk PWH.

Endothelial PD‐1 Regulates Vascular Homeostasis and Oligodendrogenesis during Brain Development
Vascular endothelial cells are fundamental for angiogenesis and brain development. This study reveals that endothelial programmed cell death 1 (PD‐1) is critical for cerebral angiogenesis and blood brain barrier (BBB) maturation. It also mediates interaction with oligodendrocyte precursor cells (OPCs), modulating OPCs differentiation and myelination ...

A nanometer‐sized artificial basement membrane (A‐BM) is developed to replicate the barrier functions of the basement membrane and prevent cell migration. It is demonstrated that the outermost cationic surface charge of nanofilms can effectively inhibit endothelial cell migration and sprouting, allowing for the construction of 3D patterned vascular ...

This study uncovers that CD38high monocytes discriminate sepsis and sterile inflammation and are associated with 28‐day mortality in bacterial sepsis. Targeting CD38 therapy reduces inflammatory response in monocytes and in sepsis mice model. Mechanistically, CD38‐HIF‐1α/glycolysis/MGO loop exacerbates sepsis‐induced immune dysregulation.
