Dendrimeric phosphines in asymmetric catalysis
Chem. Soc. Rev., 2008Dendrimers are hyperbranched nanosized and precisely defined molecules, attracting increasing attention each year due to their numerous properties in catalysis, materials science, and biology. This tutorial review concerns the use of dendrimers as catalysts and focuses more precisely on their properties as enantioselective catalysts. Emphasis is put on

Metallopeptides for Asymmetric Dirhodium Catalysis
Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2010Natural peptide sequences ligate to dirhodium centers through two bridging aspartate side chains, creating a macromolecular ligand framework with helical structure. The generation of a small peptide library allowed optimization of peptide sequence and produced an efficient catalyst for enantioselective carbenoid insertion into Si-H bonds.

Combinatorial approaches to asymmetric catalysis
ChemInform, 1991Publisher Summary Combinatorial techniques are applied to other fields including development of catalytic processes. This chapter highlights research examples where a clearly defined systematic parallel or combinatorial approach is used to identify new catalytic asymmetric processes.

Asymmetric phase-transfer catalysis
Nature Reviews ChemistryOver the past three decades, chiral phase-transfer catalysts (PTCs) have emerged as highly successful organocatalysts in a diverse range of asymmetric reactions. A substantial number of chiral PTCs have now already been discovered and utilized in dependable routes to enantioenriched products.
