On-Line Current-Based Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Three-Phase Induction Motor [PDF]

open access: yesEngineering and Technology Journal, 2007
A stator current measurement has an important role in condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of induction motors. For instance, the eccentricity, rotor bars and end ring breaks, shorted stator windings can be detected by analyses based on stator ...

Power control strategies during voltage sags according to Spanish grid code [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
In order to connect any power converters into the grid there are some grid requirements to insure the safe operation of the grid. So, the control of the converters especially during abnormal condition e.g. during voltage sags is

Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Optimized Hierarchical Power Oscillations Control for Distributed Generation Under Unbalanced Conditions

open access: yes, 2017
Control structures have critical influences on converter-interfaced distributed generations (DG) under unbalanced conditions. Most of previous works focus on suppressing active power oscillations and ripples of DC bus voltage.

Constraints on the thermal and tectonic evolution of Greymouth coalfield [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The southern end of the Paparoa Range in Westland, South Island, New Zealand, comprises an asymmetrical, southward plunging, faulted (Brunner-Mt Davy) anticline, the eastern limb of which is common with the western limb of an asymmetrical (Grey Valley ...

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Fault characteristic analysis of photovoltaic inverter considering negative sequence control strategy

open access: yesZhejiang dianli, 2023
In case of an asymmetrical fault in PV accessed system, the inverter will simultaneously control the outputs of positive and negative sequence currents.

Effect of Asymmetric Topography on Rupture Propagation Along Fault Stepovers

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Solid Earth, 2023
AbstractComplex fault systems are often located in regions with asymmetric topography on one side of a fault, and these systems are very common in Southern California. Along these fault systems, geometrical complexities such as stepovers can impact fault rupture.
