Synchronizing the asynchronous
Synchronous programs are easy to specify because the side effects of an operation are finished by the time the invocation of the operation returns to the caller. Asynchronous programs, on the other hand, are difficult to specify because there are side effects due to pending computation scheduled as a result of the invocation of an operation.

Empowering Asynchronous Arabic Language Learning Through PDF Hyperlink Media
The migration to online learning has brought about several new problems. Poor signal quality, large Internet quotas, and device compatibility with learning applications are the most common complaints among students.

Algorithmic Verification of Asynchronous Programs
Asynchronous programming is a ubiquitous systems programming idiom to manage concurrent interactions with the environment. In this style, instead of waiting for time-consuming operations to complete, the programmer makes a non-blocking call to the ...

Program Transformations for Asynchronous and Batched Query Submission [PDF]
The performance of database/Web-service backed applications can be significantly improved by asynchronous submission of queries/requests well ahead of the point where the results are needed, so that results are likely to have been fetched already when ...

Efficiency of Asynchronous Systems That Communicate Asynchronously [PDF]
A parallel composition is introduced that combines nets (regarded as system components) by merging so-called interface places; the novel feature is a flexible typing of these places, which formulates assumptions a component makes about its environment.

Dynamic asynchronous iterations
Many problems can be solved by iteration by multiple participants (processors, servers, routers etc.). Previous mathematical models for such asynchronous iterations assume a single function being iterated by a fixed set of participants. We will call such iterations static since the system's configuration does not change.

Students’ Errors in E-Learning Discussion in TEFL Course and Their Responses
Lack of knowledge, practice, and forgetfulness can also contribute to typographical errors. Writing errors will impact the information presented and cannot be appropriately channeled.

Asynchronous Transmission over Single-User State-Dependent Channels
Several channels with asynchronous side information are introduced. We first consider single-user state-dependent channels with asynchronous side information at the transmitter.
